All Self Organised Groups are for those who identify with the specified characteristic of that group.
This position and meeting are for our Black members only.
What’s involved?
- Being a point of contact for our Black members and raising issues affecting them
- Organising regular Black members Self Organised Group (SOG) meetings to collect and share information on Black members issues in the workplace
- Attending Branch Committee meetings to report any issues raised
- Working with the Branch Committee to campaign on relevant issues
This is a voluntary position that does not come with facility time We will support the successful applicant with time off for union duties
