The Coronavirus crisis has drastically effected all of our lives, and that is no less the case for Surrey UNISON members.
Here you can find information about how Surrey UNISON is supporting our members through this time.
We have put together the Surrey Coronavirus Guide to give you information and support.
Due to the Coronavirus, staff are entitled to individual risk assessments with their Manager. It is for staff to approach their Manager if you want this risk assessment completed. Not all vulnerabilities may be obvious so if you feel you should have a risk assessment please do ask for one. UNISON strongly recommends that you ask for a risk assessment if you have any concerns, for example if you are a Black and Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME) staff, pregnant women, older staff, those who may have underlying health conditions or those also caring for Shielded groups. But all staff are entitled to ask for a risk assessment.
UNISON will support you with consultation and advice in the risk assessment process and support you in approaching management. If you want UNISON will attend any Covid 19 risk assessments.
For support get in contact with your local rep or directly with Andrew Pattinson via Unison office.
