Black Members

We remain committed to improve equality in the workplace for Black workers and challenge racism and discrimination in the workplace.

Working towards these principles of tackling discrimination means that we support our members when individuals experience racism and discrimination in the workplace, but also means that we tackle the deep-rooted systemic barriers that Black members face.

We remain committed to improving the situation for Black workers, and are working with the County Council to ensure the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion is a priority, and delivers measurable change across the county, ensuring that Black people are better represented across the workforce.

Our branch is committed to campaigning on these issues, and working to support our Black members. If you feel passionately about Black members issues, or if you feel that you have been affected by an issue, please get in contact with us.
